Madrid

A Mystery
by David Klopich

The terrifying, big town of Madrid holds a secret.

Don Quijote has the perfect life working as a swordsman in the city and talking with his grateful girlfriend, Annie Wu.

However, when he finds a hard hat in his cellar, he begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Quijote family.

A Valentine's Day leaves Don with some startling questions about his past, and he sets off to old-fashioned Madrid to find some answers.

At first the people of Madrid are clever and charming. He is intrigued by the curiously popular author, Michelle Grey. However, after she introduces him to hard chocolate, Don slowly finds himself drawn into a web of murder, robbery and perhaps, even abduction.

Can Don resist the charms of Michelle Grey and uncover the secret of the hard hat before it's too late, or will his demise become yet another Madrid legend?

Created on 16th July 2016.
