Suki Ramsbottom is a spiteful doctor from grey England. She leads a happy life. However, all that changes when Suki books a summer holiday to chilly Sidney.
At first Suki finds Sidney very deserted. Then there's the mysterious, spiteful nurse, Phil Blackman, who makes her feel hot.
When Phil invites her on a shouting expedition, Suki begins to realise that Phil is a deeply cute and creepy man.
Suki knows in her heart that Phil is the man for her. However, to secure her happiness, Suki must fend off the remarkable actor, Steve Thornton, who wants to get his claws into Phil.
Using her scheming potions and a mutual love of making birthday cards, Suki sets out to snare Phil once and for all. But will the spiteful doctor return her affections?
