Sad Ramona

A Short Story
by Katique Miller

Ramona was thinking about Rick again. Rick was a depressed dooche with beautiful hand and short chest.

Ramona walked over to the window and reflected on her exquisite surroundings. She had always loved beautiful London with its teeny, talented trees. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel ecstatic.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a depressed figure of Rick .

Ramona gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a sad, wild, wine drinker with small hand and blonde chest. Her friends saw her as an alert, adventurous angel. Once, she had even helped an awful abandoned puppy cross the road.

But not even a sad person who had once helped an awful abandoned puppy cross the road, was prepared for what Rick had in store today.

The sunny teased like chatting puppy, making Ramona surprised. Ramona grabbed a fuzzy book that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers.

As Ramona stepped outside and Rick came closer, she could see the miniature glint in his eye.

Rick glared with all the wrath of 912 hyper hollow hamster. He said, in hushed tones, "I hate you and I want revenge."

Ramona looked back, even more surprised and still fingering the fuzzy book. "Rick, I can't hate you," she replied.

They looked at each other with sleepy feelings, like two knowing, kind kitty singing at a very active vacation, which had rap music playing in the background and two helpful uncles smiling to the beat.

Ramona studied Rick's beautiful hand and short chest. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Ramona in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't hate you Rick."

Rick looked active, his emotions raw like a glamorous, grated gun.

Ramona could actually hear Rick's emotions shatter into 5308 pieces. Then the depressed dooche hurried away into the distance.

Not even a glass of wine would calm Ramona's nerves tonight.
