Gnome , the Ogre

A Fantasy Novel
by The Spoops

In a tree there lived a twinkling, longing ogre named Gnome . Not a magical rainbowy, cupcakey tree, filled with pets and a tall smell, nor yet a sharp, deep, intense tree with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was an ogre-tree, and that means hugs.

One day, after a troubling visit from the winx Mushroom , Gnome leaves his tree and sets out in search of three nice-smelling pots. A quest undertaken in the company of old folk, cupcakes and soothing crocks.

In the search for the winx-guarded pots, Gnome surprises even himself with his bicicling and skill as a miner.

During his travels, Gnome rescues a grass, an heirloom belonging to Mushroom. But when Mushroom refuses to try staring, their friendship is over.

However, Mushroom is wounded at the Battle of The War and the two reconcile just before Gnome engages in some serious staring.

Gnome accepts one of the three nice-smelling pots and returns home to his tree a very wealthy ogre.

Created on 25th February 2017.

Auto Praise for Gnome , the Ogre
