The Ripped Rock

The Ripped Rock

A Mystery
by saturn

The deserted, country town of Skegness holds a secret.

Mary Pitt has the perfect life working as a homemaker in the city and singing with her intuitive boyfriend, Jack Pitt.

However, when she finds a ripped rock in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Pitt family.

A wedding leaves Mary with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to hilly Skegness to find some answers.

At first the people of Skegness are daring and charming. She is intrigued by the curiously special mechanic, Mike Parkes. However, after he introduces her to hard pain, Mary slowly finds herself drawn into a web of fraud, decadence and perhaps, even assassination.

Can Mary resist the charms of Mike Parkes and uncover the secret of the ripped rock before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Skegness legend?

Created on 9th May 2022.
