The Curse of the Giant Newspaper

Whilst investigating the death of a local swordsman, a kind actor called Zoe Nolan uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, giant newspaper circulating throughout Wales. As soon as anyone uses the newspaper, he or she has exactly 55 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look mirrored. A marked person feels like a giant ostrich to touch.

Zoe gets hold of the newspaper, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a fluffy monkey balancing on a false swordsman, an old newspaper headline about a dancing accident, a hooded puppy ranting about fingernails and a drinking well located in a sunny place.

When Zoe notices her legs have ostrich-like properties, she realises that the curse of the giant newspaper is true and calls in her father, a painter called Gary Khan, to help.

Gary examines the newspaper and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the fluffy monkey balancing on a false swordsman particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Zoe and Gary pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded puppy. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
