Chloe Sparkle, the Ghost

A Fantasy Novel
by Tessa Murphy

In a house there lived a rural, giant ghost named Chloe Sparkle. Not a frozen giant, fragile house, filled with stone and a windy smell, nor yet a peculiar, sleepy, hilly house with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a ghost-house, and that means warmth.

One day, after a troubling visit from the witch Jenny Humble, Chloe leaves her house and sets out in search of three splendid pens. A quest undertaken in the company of teens, wo he’s and frosty pixies.

In the search for the witch-guarded pens, Chloe Sparkle surprises even herself with her resourcefulness and skill as a swordsman.

During her travels, Chloe rescues a sword, an heirloom belonging to Jenny. But when Jenny refuses to try running, their friendship is over.

However, Jenny is wounded at the Battle of Four Armies and the two reconcile just before Chloe engages in some serious running.

Chloe accepts one of the three splendid pens and returns home to her house a very wealthy ghost.

Created on 3rd April 2023.

Auto Praise for Chloe Sparkle, the Ghost

- The Daily Tale
"OMG! It's like Lord of the Rings with added wo he’s."
- One of the Kidz
"About as enjoyable as eating my own toes. I wish Jenny had kept refusing to do any running. The whole thing would have been a lot shorter."
- Enid Kibbler
"I love Jenny. I would have liked to see more of her."
