EXT. SECTOR A-5-1 - AFTERNOON

Smart Scientist DR. SOKOTOT YOKMI is arguing with Intillectual Doctor DR. SARAH JONES. SOKOTOT tries to hug SARAH but she shakes him off.

SOKOTOT
Please Sarah, don't leave me.

SARAH
I'm sorry Sokotot, but I'm looking for somebody a bit more brave. Somebody who faces his fears head on, instead of running away.

SOKOTOT
I am such a person!

SARAH frowns.

SARAH
I'm sorry, Sokotot. I just don't feel excited by this relationship anymore.

SARAH leaves.

SOKOTOT sits down, looking defeated.

Moments later, Funny Scientist DR. SAMIYAM YOKMI barges in looking flustered.

SOKOTOT
Goodness, Samiyam! Is everything okay?

SAMIYAM
I'm afraid not.

SOKOTOT
What is it? Don't keep me in suspense...

SAMIYAM
It's ... a Rebel ... I saw an evil Rebel Enslave a bunch of Orphans!

SOKOTOT
Defenseless Orphans?

SAMIYAM
Yes, defenseless Orphans!

SOKOTOT
Bloomin' heck, Samiyam! We've got to do something.

SAMIYAM
I agree, but I wouldn't know where to start.

SOKOTOT
You can start by telling me where this happened.

SAMIYAM

SAMIYAM fans herself and begins to wheeze.

SOKOTOT
Focus Samiyam, focus! Where did it happen?

SAMIYAM
Sector B-1-9! That's right - Sector B-1-9!

SOKOTOT springs up and begins to run.

EXT. A ROAD - CONTINUOUS

SOKOTOT rushes along the street, followed by SAMIYAM. They take a short cut through some back gardens, jumping fences along the way.

EXT. SECTOR B-1-9 - SHORTLY AFTER

YOSHO MAKIMAM a mean Rebel terrorises two Orphans.

SOKOTOT, closely followed by SAMIYAM, rushes towards YOSHO, but suddenly stops in his tracks.

SAMIYAM
What is is? What's the matter?

SOKOTOT
That's not just any old Rebel, that's Yosho Makimam!

SAMIYAM
Who's Yosho Makimam?

SOKOTOT
Who's Yosho Makimam? Who's Yosho Makimam? Only the most mean Rebel in the universe!

SAMIYAM
Blinkin' knickers, Sokotot! We're going to need some help if we're going to stop the most mean Rebel in the universe!

SOKOTOT
You can say that again.

SAMIYAM
Blinkin' knickers, Sokotot! We're going to need some help if we're going to stop the most mean Rebel in the universe!

SOKOTOT
I'm going to need Guns, lots of Guns.

Yosho turns and sees Sokotot and Samiyam. He grins an evil grin.

YOSHO
Sokotot Yokmi, we meet again.

SAMIYAM
You've met?

SOKOTOT
Yes. It was a long, long time ago...

EXT. A PARK - BACK IN TIME

A young SOKOTOT is sitting in a park listening to some Dubstep music, when suddenly a dark shadow casts over him.

He looks up and sees YOSHO. He takes off his headphones.

YOSHO
Would you like some Cake?

SOKOTOT's eyes light up, but then he studies YOSHO more closely, and looks uneasy.

SOKOTOT
I don't know, you look kind of mean.

YOSHO
Me? No. I'm not mean. I'm the least mean Rebel in the world.

SOKOTOT
Wait, you're a Rebel?

SOKOTOT runs away, screaming.

EXT. SECTOR B-1-9 - PRESENT DAY

YOSHO
You were a coward then, and you are a coward now.

SAMIYAM
(To SOKOTOT) You ran away?

SOKOTOT
(To SAMIYAM) I was a young child. What was I supposed to do?

SOKOTOT turns to YOSHO.

SOKOTOT
I may have run away from you then, but I won't run away this time!

SOKOTOT runs away.

He turns back and shouts.

SOKOTOT
I mean, I am running away, but I'll be back - with Guns.

YOSHO
I'm not scared of you.

SOKOTOT
You should be.

EXT. SECTOR B-B-1 - LATER THAT DAY

SOKOTOT and SAMIYAM walk around searching for something.

SOKOTOT
I feel sure I left my Guns somewhere around here.

SAMIYAM
Are you sure? It does seem like an odd place to keep deadly Guns.

SOKOTOT
You know nothing Samiyam Yokmi.

SAMIYAM
We've been searching for ages. I really don't think they're here.

Suddenly, YOSHO appears, holding a pair of Guns.

YOSHO
Looking for something?

SAMIYAM
Crikey, Sokotot, he's got your Guns.

SOKOTOT
Tell me something I don't already know!

SAMIYAM
The earth's circumference at the equator is about 40,075 km.

SOKOTOT
I know that already!

SAMIYAM
I'm terrified of Orphans.

YOSHO
(appalled) Dude!

While YOSHO is looking at SAMIYAM with disgust, SOKOTOT lunges forward and grabs his deadly Guns. He wields them, triumphantly.

SOKOTOT
Prepare to die, you mean Carrot!

YOSHO
No please! All I did was Enslave a bunch of Orphans!

SARAH enters, unseen by any of the others.

SOKOTOT
I cannot tolerate that kind of behaviour! Those Orphans were defenceless! Well now they have a defender - and that's me! Sokotot Yokmi defender of innocent Orphans.

YOSHO
Don't hurt me! Please!

SOKOTOT
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't use these Guns on you right away!

YOSHO
Because Sokotot, I am your father.

SOKOTOT looks stunned for a few moments, but then collects himself.

SOKOTOT
No you're not!

YOSHO
Ah well, it had to be worth a try.

YOSHO tries to grab the Guns but SOKOTOT dodges out of the way.

SOKOTOT
Who's the daddy now? Huh? Huh?

Unexpectedly, YOSHO slumps to the ground.

SAMIYAM
Did he just faint?

SOKOTOT
I think so. Well that's disappointing. I was rather hoping for a more dramatic conclusion, involving my deadly Guns.

SOKOTOT crouches over YOSHO's body.

SAMIYAM
Be careful, Sokotot. It could be a trick.

SOKOTOT
No, it's not a trick. It appears that... It would seem... Yosho Makimam is dead!

SOKOTOT
What?

SOKOTOT
Yes, it appears that I scared him to death.

SAMIYAM claps her hands.

SAMIYAM
So your Guns did save the day, after all.

SARAH steps forward.

SARAH
Is it true? Did you kill the mean Rebel?

SOKOTOT
Sarah how long have you been...?

SARAH puts her arm around SOKOTOT.

SARAH
Long enough.

SOKOTOT
Then you saw it for yourself. I killed Yosho Makimam.

SARAH
Then the Orphans are safe?

SOKOTOT
It does seem that way!

A crowd of vulnerable Orphans enter, looking relived.

SARAH
You are their hero.

The Orphans bow to SOKOTOT.

SOKOTOT
There is no need to bow to me. I seek no worship. The knowledge that Yosho Makimam will never Enslave Orphans ever again, is enough for me.

SARAH
You are humble as well as brave!

One of the Orphans passes SOKOTOT a Sharp Finger

SARAH
I think they want you to have it, as a symbol of their gratitude.

SOKOTOT
I couldn't possibly.

Pause.

SOKOTOT
Well, if you insist.

SOKOTOT takes the Finger.

SOKOTOT
Thank you.

The Orphans bow their heads once more, and leave.

SOKOTOT turns to SARAH.

SOKOTOT
Does this mean you want me back?

SARAH
Oh, Sokotot, of course I want you back!

SOKOTOT smiles for a few seconds, but then looks defiant.

SOKOTOT
Well you can't have me.

SARAH
WHAT?

SOKOTOT
You had no faith in me. You had to see my scare a Rebel to death before you would believe in me. I don't want a lover like that.

SARAH
But...

SOKOTOT
Please leave. I want to spend time with the one person who stayed with me through thick and thin - my best friend, Samiyam.

SAMIYAM grins.

SARAH
But...

SAMIYAM
You heard the gentleman. Now be off with you. Skidaddle! Shoo!

SARAH
Sokotot?

SOKOTOT
I'm sorry Sarah, but I think you should skidaddle.

SARAH leaves.

SAMIYAM turns to SOKOTOT.

SAMIYAM
Did you mean that? You know ... that I'm your best friend?

SOKOTOT
Of course you are!

The two walk off arm in arm.

Suddenly SAMIYAM stops.

SAMIYAM
When I said I'm terrified of Orphans, you know I was just trying to distract the Rebel don't you?
